Calvino I de Nyze, the sire of Dushi-K, belongs to an exceptionally precious sport lineage, the BWP damline 115. It is abundantly clear that Calvino I also plays a part in the success of this lineage. At a young age, he already jumped into the spotlight. In 2018, the then 9-year-old Calvino I, under the saddle of Pieter Clemens, ranked, among other performances, second in the World Cup in Abu Dhabi. In 2019, the Mexican Carlos Hank Gonzales took over the reins. Thanks to Calvino’s scope, suppleness and attitude, he managed to distinguish himself at the highest level.
Thanks to Dushi-K, you can connect with one of the best damlines in Europe: the performance lineage of Usha van ’t Roosakker. Dushi-K’s granddam, Evita van ’t Roosakker, is by the progenitor Nabab de Rêve out of Usha. Evita is a full sister to two showjumpers from the 1m60 circuit, namely Emperio and Equador van ’t Roosakker. Evita forms a very valuable and strong branch within the Usha lineage. She is known as the dam of a series of international showjumpers for the big sport, including Isaac VD Bisschop (1m60 level, Hansueli Sprunger), Jackson VD Bisschop (1m60 level, Ingrid Gjelsten and Michael Hughes), Luigi VD Bisschop (1m60 level, Matt Archer), Popeye VD Bisschop (1m60 level, Christopher Kläsener) and Melvin VD Bisschop (1m55 level, Chloe Aston).
